I've been seeing a LOT of negative remarks and press about psychics lately and I would like to clarify a few things. First of all, psychics are regular, everyday people just like you and me. They come from ALL walks of life and religious backgrounds and do not necessarily accept that they even have a gift. Some psychics choose to ignore their talent altogether while others fully embrace it. Both paths are correct and sacred. Second, psychics who choose to embrace their talents are NOT evil. They are gifted and open-minded, which surely does not equal evil in any way. Yes, some practice religions that aren't mainstream, but those religions are just that: religions. In NO WAY does any person have the right to judge another human being on the basis of their belief system. If you don't like what someone else believes, ignore it. You do not have the right to publicly harass, degrade or otherwise harm anyone because they happen to believe differently than you.  As long as they aren't hurting you personally in any way, their belief system is none of your business. Finally, there are  psychics who offer to help with a spiritual crisis, negative energy attachment or other issues for a fee just as there are dieticians who offer to custom-create a diet for you for a fee or personal trainers who offer to build a fitness plan for you for  a fee. A person using their skills or knowledge to make money is a business person, that's all. Yes, there are those rare scammers who try to cheat you out of your hard-earned cash. Scammers work their tricks in virtually every form of commerce there is. It doesn't mean that because one person did something wrong, that every business person in that trade is dishonest. One look at the banking industry should tell you all you need to know about that. So, for someone to say that all psychics who do other energy work are scammers is grossly unfair. My advice is to get to know the psychic beforehand. What is his/her background? Establish boundaries before you begin. For example, if all you want is a reading, say so. A professional psychic will honor your limits and give you exactly what you ask for.
