Want to lose the weight you gained from the holidays? Go barefoot! Seriously! There are cells on the bottom of your feet that regulate body temperature (among other things). When you wear shoes, they trick the body into thinking it is warm, so your metabolism slows down. Go barefoot, and your metabolism automatically speeds up to compensate for the colder temperatures. The result? Weight loss. Who knew losing weight could be so much fun?
